Osvaldo Golijov’s Grammy Award Winning Opera will be presented by IU Opera and Ballet Theater. Erin will be stepping into the shoes of Federico García Lorca. Under the direction of Jeffery Buchman, the baton of David Neely, and choreographed by Rosa Mercedes, the cast will perform an artistic imagining of Margartia Xirgu’s final moments, during which she reflects on the love of her friend Lorca and the grief over his murder in the early moments of the Spanish Civil War.
